I guess it's been bugging me for quite sometime now, but hey don't we all have thorns in our sides?
So there was this invite only party that a majority of my friends were invited to, but I was not, and yes, I did feel slighted. Was the invitation misplaced? Was this a message? Was this a sign? Perhaps there's nothing there, and I'm making this out to be larger than it really was.
Maybe now, at this point, it's history now, but when reminders keep showing up, friends, talking about it, photos on FB, it's like rubbing salt into a wound (do not attempt that at home!).
I'm as even-keeled as the next fellow, perhaps too stoic, this still tries my patience. At this point, all I think about is damage control, how to react, how to diffuse my own 'upsettedness' (it's not about anger anymore, more annoyance). I just don't want to snap at anyone, but by god, I've beenthisclose to it a few times.
Alas, like all things, this shall pass, I'm hoping the big karma scoreboard in the sky helps me out.

You're so toxic
You're toxic I'm slipping under
With a taste of a poison paradise
I’m addicted to you
Don’t you know that you’re toxic
And I love what you do
Don’t you know that you’re toxic
'Nuff said.

Oh How Iove to hate you WarCrack!
So lately, I've reimmersed myself into what has to be known as a computer version of crack. Thought it is fun, I think that the sense of community and virtual economy world that exists in there makes it a fabulous game to enjoy. Some people feel that the $12.99/mo. Seems so excessive. Well, I think of it as cheap entertainment, like netflicks or any of those magazine subscriptions that one might have. This will entertain you and you'll enjoy yourself. Now if only I could find a way to exercise while playing and my life would pretty much be complete!

A Tower Twinkling in the Sky
I finally got around to posting a short clip of my visit to the Eiffel Tower. I thought that it was pretty cool then and I still think it's pretty cool now.
Any how, just a little something I wanted to share.

Asbestos the cornerstone of any nutritious breakfast.
Well I was meaning to talk about this someday, but I feel that this would be a good day, better than most. Not only is there a waiver, for the notice of Asbestos in the building that I work in, but I encountered this in the rest room.
Boiling water on the left, 33F degree water on the right. How on this Green Earth am I supposed to get lukewarm water? What technique should be used for this endeavor? Oh the joys for working in the public sector.

Ohhh Whoa... The Sweetest Thing!
So here I am recovering from a day and a night of sports overload. Yes, it's that time of year again... March Madness.
Then again, after seeing the Lakers snap a horrible 7 game losing streak, I'm feeling pretty good about LA basketball. Sorry Clippers, I think that as a NBA-DL you might actually play pretty well.
What's up with the love of sport? I can't explain it, but it there something that gets the blood flowing when watching sports. Maybe it's the fact that in playing you can appreciate how remarkable and skillful the athletes are.
Ah well, it isn't over yet, let's get the roll on...
